The final week of August 2026 brought a heavy batch of HighLevel releases. Ask AI and Managed Agents can now produce video clips and voiceovers, one calendar can offer several meeting lengths, forms can open and close on a schedule, and WhatsApp picked up fixes that matter in username-heavy markets. For the whole month, see the [August 2026 HighLevel updates roundup](https://guide.launchkit.work/blog-highlevel-updates-august-2026?ref=netpartners.marketing).

## AI Agents Now Generate Video and Audio

Ask AI produces short video and voice clips alongside text and images. Video runs on Google Veo 3.1 and returns 4, 6, or 8-second clips in landscape or vertical formats up to 4K with a synced audio track. On-screen text is rendered as a static image first so it stays sharp. Audio offers ten voices, adjustable tone and speed, scripts up to 4,000 characters, and MP3, WAV, OPUS, or AAC export.

Managed Agents received matching Audio generation and Video generation toggles in Agent Studio, with 11 voices, multilingual delivery, and 8-second 16:9 clips. Every generated file is saved permanently to the Media Library, and agents on scheduled or event-driven triggers can create media unattended and attach it to social posts. Image generation now supports ten aspect ratios from 1:1 to 21:9 plus a per-agent Low, Medium, or High quality setting. One agent can now produce a vertical story, a YouTube thumbnail, and a voiceover for a client without leaving the platform. ## Twelve New MCP Connectors

The MCP catalog for Managed Agents and Ask AI added Google Drive, Docs, Sheets, Slides, and Calendar, along with Atlassian and Trello. A second batch added Apollo for B2B prospecting, Fal for media models, Zapier for reaching 8,000+ apps through one connector, Magnific for image upscaling, and DataForSEO for SEO data. Reporting and prospecting that used to live in outside tools can now be delegated to an agent.

## Calendars: Multiple Durations, Guest Fields, Working Days

A single calendar can now offer up to three meeting durations. Bookers choose the length on the booking page, availability refreshes to fit, and the choice carries through rescheduling. It works across Personal, Round Robin, Collective, and Event calendars on web and mobile. Existing appointments are never altered when a duration is added or removed, so separate 15, 30, and 60-minute calendars for the same person are no longer needed.

Guest collection is configurable per calendar: Name and Email, Name and Phone, all three (the new default), or a headcount only, with guests matched to existing contacts automatically. A Count available days only toggle under Date Range skips closed days across Calendars, Services, and Rentals, so a business closed on weekends no longer shows an empty calendar on Friday.

## Forms, Surveys, and Chat Widget Controls

Forms, Surveys, and Quizzes gained a Schedule visibility setting. Set opening and closing times in a chosen time zone, then show visitors outside that window a custom branded page or redirect them to another URL. Webinar registrations and flash-sale forms can close themselves on deadline instead of relying on someone remembering to unpublish them.

The Sell Products element has a new Require card for $0 orders toggle. Turned off, a free order (including one reaching zero through a coupon) hides payment fields entirely, while subscriptions and free trials still require a card.

Chat Widget replaced its single HIPAA toggle with a Compliance notice and consent section: a read-only legal notice, a consent checkbox with your own wording, and required or pre-checked options. Each submission records whether consent was given and the exact text shown.

## WhatsApp: Contact Requests, Validation, Messaging Limits

When a WhatsApp user with a username messages a business, only the username is shared, leaving a contact that cannot be called or exported. A new Share contact info button on templates, plus a Request Contact Info workflow message, asks the customer to share their phone number in one tap, and calling now works for username contacts. Agencies serving Latin America benefit most; see the [WhatsApp guide](https://guide.launchkit.work/whatsapp?ref=netpartners.marketing) or the official [WhatsApp overview](https://www.gohighlevel.com/whatsapp?fp%5Fref=details&ref=netpartners.marketing).

The template builder now flags invalid variables inline before saving instead of letting Meta reject the template later. Messaging limits are displayed at the portfolio level to match Meta's shared model, with a new 2,000 messages per day tier and upgrade checks every 6 hours.

## Dashboards: Custom Fields as Metrics

Numeric and monetary custom fields on Contacts and Opportunities can be used as metrics, aggregated by Sum, Min, Max, or Average, in widgets, custom reports, and the Custom Metric module. Widgets also gained a metric polarity toggle, so a rising unsubscribe rate shows a red trend badge rather than a misleading green one.

## Agency Controls: Apps, Permissions, Snapshots, Domains

Marketplace App Access replaced the legacy auto-approve setting with one switch: allow all apps, or show only approved apps to sub-accounts. Managed Agents now has dedicated View and Manage user permissions, enforced from the sidebar through to the API. Snapshots containing protected assets can be reused freely inside your own agency; the restriction only applies when assets leave it.

Workflow Settings gained a Sender domain dropdown, so an entire workflow can send from a specific verified dedicated domain. Appointment reminders can run on one domain while marketing runs on another, isolating deliverability reputation.

## In Labs and Coming Soon

Three features entered Labs. Voice AI agents gained an End Call action with a customizable hangup prompt, in-call spam detection that politely ends telemarketer and robocall conversations, and post-call analysis that auto-blocks repeat offenders at a threshold you set. That directly protects [Voice AI](https://www.gohighlevel.com/voice-ai?fp%5Fref=details&ref=netpartners.marketing) minute spend. Conversation AI bots can be assigned to specific Marketplace conversation providers from the Deploy tab. Opportunities gained conditional custom fields with AND/OR rules that show fields or make them mandatory based on pipeline, stage, status, or field values.

Previewed as coming soon: Credential analytics for certificate and badge issuance, downloads, and shares, and Communities auto DMs plus onboarding steps for new members. Follow their progress on the [HighLevel beta watch](https://guide.launchkit.work/blog-highlevel-beta-watch?ref=netpartners.marketing) page.

## Smaller Improvements Worth Noting

- Media Library image previews support 100 to 400 percent zoom, panning, and fullscreen.
- Companies and Custom Objects list views have a Trigger Automation bulk action.
- Social Planner auto-posts a TikTok follow-up comment of up to 1,200 characters once a video goes live.
- Certificate AI (beta) builds an editable certificate design from a prompt.
- Email AI restores earlier template versions from chat.
- The Send SMS action's test number field has a country picker and accepts local dialing formats.
- AI Studio projects, including older versions, can be downloaded as ZIP files.
- The mobile app mirrors the contact detail layout configured on web (version 4.22.0 or higher).
- Domain owners receive a renewal reminder 67 days before expiry and a final notice 10 days after.

## Frequently Asked Questions

### Do I need to rebuild calendars to offer multiple durations?

No. Open the calendar settings, add up to three durations, choose the default, and save. Existing bookings keep their original length.

### Where are AI-generated videos and voiceovers stored?

Managed Agent output is saved to the Media Library as a permanent file with a descriptive name, so it can be reused in emails, funnels, and social posts.

### Is Voice AI spam protection available to everyone?

It is in Labs. Enable it for the sub-account under Labs, then configure the End Call action, spam detection, and block threshold in the Agent Builder.
