HighLevel Updates: New Features for October 12-16, 2026

Schema dashboards, GitHub sync in AI Studio, event workflow triggers and bulk sub-account feature control shipped this week.

HighLevel shipped a dense week of updates between October 12th and October 16th 2026, covering search markup, event automation, AI Studio, WhatsApp templates, call attribution and agency account controls. Here is what changed and what it means for agencies and small businesses.

Ask AI Finds Templates and Analyzes Your Website

Mention a template in Ask AI and it now pulls a matching designer built asset from the Template Library, with a preview in chat and an Open in builder option. Emails, workflows, funnels, websites and stores are covered, and the last three were previously beyond what Ask AI could create.

External Tracking moved in too. Connect an existing site to the CRM, then ask whether the script is firing, which pages generate leads or where traffic comes from. Ask AI returns views, sessions, visitors, form submissions, contacts created and conversion rate, and it can trace the tracking path to the likely failure point. Read only queries run immediately while configuration changes need confirmation. Managed agents also gained Agent Studio access, course progress checks and Facebook plus Google Ads reporting.

Schema Markup Gets Its Own Dashboard

Funnels and websites now carry an SEO and AEO tab with a central schema dashboard. A coverage card rates the site Needs work, Getting there, Good or Excellent and counts pages that are current, possibly outdated or missing schema. Pages republished twice since their schema was written are flagged stale.

Select pages, generate schema with AI in bulk, edit tags by hand, then review before publishing. For an agency running dozens of client sites, a day of page by page auditing becomes one filter and one bulk action. Generating schema over existing schema replaces it, so check the results first.

AI Studio Adds GitHub Sync, Native Chat and Two-Step Checkout

AI Studio projects can now connect a GitHub account. A private repository is created under the account you choose and every saved version pushes on its own, including agent turns, code edits, visual edits and restores. New commits on the connected branch return through a webhook as one version with a changed file list and a fresh preview. You can rework a site in any editor or coding agent and have it land back in the project, with React on Vite and TanStack Start supported. Pushes are scanned for secrets, and known token formats block the push.

Ask AI Studio for a live chat and it builds a real HighLevel chat widget into your app code, matching your site colors, fonts and layout. Messages land in Conversations, and project analytics show load and open rates plus an exportable lead directory.

Payments added checkout fields you can hide or mark optional, confirmations listing order ID, products, taxes, total paid and the next subscription charge, and a two-step checkout that saves the buyer as a contact before payment runs. Visitors who abandon still arrive in your CRM as leads.

Events Plug Into Workflows

Events now has an Event Registration trigger plus Register for Ticketed Event and Register for RSVP Event actions. A signup can fire confirmations, reminders, tags, team notifications and opportunities, and existing workflows can push contacts into events, turning lead ads, forms and funnels into registration channels.

Events also went multilingual across thirteen languages, covering admin setup and settings plus attendee registration, checkout, tickets and the attendee app, with English as the fallback. Gift card confirmations, recipient emails and SMS notifications are now localized too.

Conversations gained an Add Internal Comment workflow action that posts into conversation history and can mention specific users, so context for a hot lead reaches the right person without messaging the customer.

WhatsApp Template Builder Rebuilt

The WhatsApp create and edit template screen moved to the newer design system, putting category, type, body, media, buttons and variables on one layout with a live phone preview that matches what the contact sees. AI template generation and reputation review requests use the same builder.

The bigger change is dynamic media URLs. Media headers accept custom fields that resolve per contact at send time, so one approved template can deliver invoices, IDs or per contact product images instead of being cloned for every asset. It works across workflows, conversations, bulk actions, calendar sends and missed call text back. Resolved values must be publicly reachable, and empty or invalid values fail loudly rather than sending the wrong file. The WhatsApp channel gets stronger as a retention lever.

Call Tracking and Ad Attribution

Number pool calls can now ring several team members at once, with each answering on the web app, mobile app, a desk phone or a personal number. Previously those calls could not be answered in the apps, so attribution cost response speed. Calls from Facebook ads that showed as Facebook or Direct now report as Facebook Paid.

The Meta Pixel changed too. InitiateCheckout now fires when a buyer reaches checkout rather than at payment, at most once per page visit, and AddPaymentInfo carries order value, currency, product IDs and hashed customer details. You can finally measure real checkout drop off between the two events, though InitiateCheckout counts will climb, which matters for cost targets built on that event.

Agency Controls and Account Security

Feature access can now be changed across many sub-accounts at once. An Update features bulk action lets you search features, tick individual items or whole groups, then set enable or disable for each. Changes queue, apply in roughly two to five minutes and are logged in bulk action history, which removes a lot of repetition from agency onboarding and plan cleanup.

Email address changes now trigger security alerts. The owner gets an email and in-app notification stating what changed, when in their own timezone and who initiated it, sent to the previous address so the person losing access is told. A single use rollback link valid for 30 days restores the old address in one click. Alerts are agency branded and render in 12 locales.

Smaller Improvements Worth Noting

  • Public API support for new custom field types. URL, date-time, rich text, users and image based checkbox or radio fields now work through the public API, including URL domain restrictions.
  • Refreshed new user emails. Agency and sub-account new user notifications moved to the current design with a card layout and a single Manage user button. White label branding is unchanged.
  • New university course. A German language community course walks through building a Voice AI agent, from model and voice selection to prompts, functions, widget embedding and phone setup.
  • Gift card previews. Email previews render translated content with both sample and live data across supported delivery methods.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to rebuild my website to use the new tracking features?

No. External Tracking works on sites you already run. Connect the site, install the script, then query activity, forms, visitors and attribution conversationally. Nothing migrates, which makes it a low risk step before any larger funnel consolidation decision.

Will the schema dashboard overwrite markup I already added?

Existing schema appears in the new tab automatically and builder editing still works, with both views in sync. The caution is the AI generator, since generating schema on a page that already has it replaces it completely. Generated edits stay unsaved until you publish.

How fast do bulk sub-account feature changes apply?

Queued updates usually land within two to five minutes, and only the features you selected change. Check bulk action history before assuming a failure. Our October 2026 monthly roundup tracks these agency tools across the month, and the feature overview explains each module.
