What Is the Canva Integration in Media Storage?
GoHighLevel added a direct integration with Canva inside the Media Storage area of the platform.
This means designers, agency teams and creators can:
- Browse existing Canva designs from inside GoHighLevel
- Edit selected designs in Canva with one click
- Download and import the updated assets into Media Storage
- Use those assets in funnels, emails, websites and campaigns
No more manual file downloads and re-uploads between tools.
Why This Matters for Agencies and Creators
Before this update, users had to:
- Open Canva in a separate tab
- Export designs manually
- Download designs to local storage
- Upload them again to GHL Media Storage
Now you can:
- Keep all creative assets in one place
- Make real-time edits without leaving the platform
- Reduce duplicate files
- Speed up creative workflows
That streamlines asset management and reduces time wasted on repetitive export/import steps.
Skip trial and error.
Follow a proven onboarding sequence used by agencies.
How the Integration Works

- Preview and select the file you want
Step 3 – Edit in Canva
From the 3-dot menu:
- Select Edit in Canva

- Make your changes
- Save back to Canva
Step 4 – Import into My Media

- The file enters your Media Storage as a new asset
- Use it in emails, funnels, sites and memberships
Supports PNG/JPG/JPEG formats directly when editing from My Media.
Step 5 – Manage Access and Permissions
