What Connects to GoHighLevel? The Integrations That Matter and When You Need Zapier

Will your other tools still work with HighLevel? What connects natively (payments, QuickBooks, calendars, Zoom, ads), when you need Zapier, Make or n8n, API access by plan and the honest limits.

Before anyone moves their business onto HighLevel, they ask the same question: will my other tools still work? The payment processor, the accounting software, the calendar, the video calls, the ad accounts. Nobody wants to rebuild everything or find out three weeks in that a key tool can't connect.

The good news: most of a small business's customer data, marketing and client communication can run inside HighLevel itself, and the rest usually has a GoHighLevel integration of some kind.

This guide answers that in plain words. It covers what connects to HighLevel natively, when you need Zapier, Make or n8n, what the API and webhooks can do on each plan, how to move in from HubSpot or ConvertKit and where the honest limits are.

TLDR

  • HighLevel connects natively to the tools most small businesses use: Stripe, PayPal, Square and other payment processors, QuickBooks, Google and Outlook calendars, Zoom, Facebook, Instagram, Google Business Profile and more.
  • For tools without a native connection, HighLevel's Zapier app (listed as LeadConnector), Make and n8n fill the gaps.
  • Starter and Unlimited plans include basic API access. Advanced API access, including OAuth for marketplace apps, is on Agency Pro.
  • Webhooks let a workflow send data to any other system in real time, without code.
  • The limits are real but manageable: some payment providers don't work in every product area, QuickBooks only syncs new invoices by default and very niche software usually needs middleware.

What Are the Three Types of GoHighLevel Integrations?

Every way to connect GoHighLevel to another tool falls into one of three groups:

  1. Native integrations: built into HighLevel and switched on in settings.
  2. Automation platforms: tools like Zapier, Make, n8n or Integrately that sit in the middle and pass data between apps.
  3. The API and webhooks: direct, real-time connections for anything custom.

It's also worth knowing what you no longer need. HighLevel has a built-in funnel builder, website builder, forms, calendars, email and SMS, so many of the tools people used to synchronize with a CRM simply go away.

Which Tools Connect to GoHighLevel Natively?

Native integrations are built into HighLevel. You connect them in settings, usually by logging in to the other tool, with no Zapier account and no per-task fees. They're the first choice whenever they exist, because fewer moving parts means fewer things break.

Payments

According to HighLevel's supported payment providers guide, you can take payments through Stripe, PayPal, Authorize.net, NMI, Square and Razorpay, plus third-party integrations. Stripe also supports wallets, bank debits, buy-now-pay-later options and a card reader for in-person sales.

Not every provider works everywhere. For example, PayPal isn't available for SaaS Mode, calendar payments or the point of sale, and card readers only work with the point of sale. Check the guide before you pick a processor for a specific use. We showed how to test payments safely in how to test Stripe payments without real cards.

Accounting

HighLevel has a native QuickBooks integration. According to HighLevel's QuickBooks setup article, it syncs contacts both ways, records HighLevel payments in QuickBooks as sales receipts and pushes invoices to QuickBooks once they're sent. Our QuickBooks and Stripe integration guide walks through the setup.

Calendars and video calls

  • Calendars: HighLevel calendars sync with Google Calendar and Outlook, so bookings show up where your team already looks and busy times block availability.
  • Video calls: HighLevel can add a meeting link to appointments automatically. Zoom has a native integration, covered in HighLevel's Zoom calendar guide, and Google Meet works for Google-connected calendars.

Social, ads and messaging

  • Facebook and Instagram: messages land in the Conversations inbox, lead ads can feed straight into the CRM and the Social Planner schedules posts.
  • Google Business Profile: messages, reviews and profile management. See our Google Business Profile integration guide.
  • WhatsApp: covered in our WhatsApp integration guide.
  • Ad platforms: Facebook Ads and Google Ads data can be connected for reporting and analytics, so lead sources and spend sit next to your pipeline.
  • SMS and email delivery: HighLevel runs its own phone and email services (LC Phone and LC Email), so most accounts don't need separate Twilio or Mailgun accounts, though those can still be connected.

Ecommerce

HighLevel has its own store and checkout, and it also connects to Shopify. Our Shopify integration guide explains when to use which.

When Do You Need Zapier, Make or n8n?

When a tool has no native connection, an automation platform bridges the gap. HighLevel's Zapier app is listed as LeadConnector, and Zapier's own getting-started guide covers the setup.

ToolBest forWatch out for
ZapierQuick, simple connections with no technical setupPer-task pricing adds up at volume
MakeMulti-step scenarios with branching and data shapingA steeper learning curve than Zapier
n8nHigh volume and full control, including self-hostingMore technical, and self-hosting means you maintain it

Rules of thumb:

  • Use a native integration first, a workflow webhook second and an automation platform third.
  • Don't use Zapier to copy data HighLevel can already handle internally, like form submissions into contacts.
  • Keep a short list of every external automation, what it does and who owns it, so nothing fails silently.
  • For team notifications, like posting new leads to a Slack channel, a webhook or a simple Zap usually does the job.

What Can the API and Webhooks Do, and on Which Plans?

Webhooks

Webhooks are the simplest way to send data out of HighLevel and trigger workflows elsewhere in real time. A workflow action posts contact or event data to a URL the moment something happens: a form is submitted, an appointment is booked or a payment comes in. The receiving system can be your own app, a Make scenario or an n8n workflow. Webhooks also work the other way: the Inbound Webhook trigger starts a HighLevel workflow when another system sends data in.

The API by plan

According to HighLevel's API documentation article:

  • Starter and Unlimited: basic API access, with location-level API keys.
  • Agency Pro: advanced API access, which adds agency-level keys and the OAuth 2.0 API used for marketplace apps that connect across many accounts.
  • Some endpoints may only be available on higher plans.
  • API v1 reached end of support on December 31, 2025. Existing v1 connections may keep working, but new builds should use v2.

For internal or single-location connections, HighLevel recommends private integration tokens. Our beginner's guide to the HighLevel API explains what a non-developer can do with it, and the API data can feed custom HighLevel dashboards.

Moving In From HubSpot or ConvertKit Without Losing Data

Switching platforms is mostly an integrations question: what comes with you and how.

  • From HubSpot: export contacts, companies and deals, map the fields to HighLevel custom fields and pipelines, then rebuild the key workflows. Our 7-day HubSpot migration plan covers it step by step.
  • From ConvertKit: the hard part is keeping tags, automations and sender reputation. See switching from ConvertKit without losing deliverability.
  • For everything else: export to CSV, import into HighLevel with field mapping and tag the imported contacts by source so you can find them later.

Run both systems side by side for a short period, and switch DNS, forms and payment links last.

What Doesn't Integrate Well? The Honest Limits

  • Payment providers vary by area. A provider that works for invoices may not work for SaaS Mode, the point of sale or calendar payments. Some buy-now-pay-later methods don't support recurring payments.
  • QuickBooks syncs forward. It won't sync existing invoices unless you import them during setup, and draft invoices don't sync.
  • Advanced API features need Agency Pro. If you plan to build a marketplace app or connect many sub-accounts through OAuth, budget for that plan.
  • Niche industry software often has no direct connection. Practice management systems, field-service tools and EHRs usually need Zapier, Make, n8n or a custom webhook.
  • Two-way syncs need an owner. When two systems both edit the same record, decide which one wins, or duplicates and overwrites follow.

None of these are deal-breakers for most businesses. They're the questions to ask before you move, not after.

Frequently Asked Questions

What integrates with GoHighLevel?

Natively, payment processors like Stripe, PayPal, Square, Authorize.net and NMI, QuickBooks, Google and Outlook calendars, Zoom, Facebook, Instagram, Google Business Profile, WhatsApp and Shopify, among others. Anything else can usually connect through Zapier, Make, n8n, webhooks or the API.

Do I need Zapier with GoHighLevel?

Often not. Many common tools connect natively, and workflow webhooks cover a lot of the rest. Zapier, Make or n8n are useful for tools without a native connection.

Does GoHighLevel integrate with QuickBooks?

Yes. The native QuickBooks integration syncs contacts, records HighLevel payments as sales receipts and pushes sent invoices to QuickBooks. Existing invoices only sync if you import them during setup, and draft invoices don't sync.

Which HighLevel plans include API access?

Starter and Unlimited include basic API access with location-level keys. Agency Pro includes advanced API access, with agency-level keys and the OAuth 2.0 API for marketplace apps.

Can HighLevel send data to other apps automatically?

Yes. A workflow webhook action sends contact or event data to any URL the moment something happens, and the Inbound Webhook trigger starts a workflow when another system sends data in.

How do I integrate Stripe with GoHighLevel?

Connect your Stripe account from the Payments area of the sub-account, under Integrations, by logging in to Stripe and approving the connection. HighLevel's Connect Stripe guide walks through it. Then test with Stripe test mode before taking real payments.

Can I move from HubSpot to GoHighLevel without losing data?

Yes, with planning. Export your contacts, companies and deals, map them to HighLevel fields and pipelines, rebuild key workflows and run both systems in parallel briefly before switching forms, DNS and payment links.
