HighLevel Updates: New Features for April 27-May 1, 2026
The last week of April 2026 delivered one of the busiest release batches of the quarter across the HighLevel platform. The built-in assistant picked up persistent memory, email infrastructure gained automatic sender ramp-up, and the mobile app received its biggest reporting upgrade yet. Here is everything that shipped between April 27 and May 1, 2026, and what each change means for agencies. For the wider monthly picture, see the April 2026 updates recap and the May 2026 roundup.
Ask AI Now Remembers Your Users
Ask AI gained a persistent memory layer. After each message, a background process extracts one meaningful fact, such as a role, company, location, or standing instruction, while skipping one-time requests and duplicates. The 20 most recent memories are injected into every request, so replies come back personalized without anyone restating context. The assistant can save, update, or delete its own memories mid-conversation, a full management API is available, and users can import up to 100 memories from ChatGPT or Claude exports with automatic deduplication. Every memory is scoped to the user and tagged by source.
The workspace itself was refreshed too. Data tables now auto-size, sort by any column, and display row counts. Question prompts support multi-select, ranking, color pickers, and free text. Scroll position and conversation state stay in sync between the sidebar and the full-screen view. A hands-free Voice Mode also entered Labs, with real-time interruption and confirmation prompts before sensitive actions, extending the platform's AI toolset. For agencies, training staff on the assistant now takes one conversation instead of ten.
Workflows: New Actions and a Sharper AI Builder
Marketing audit reports can now flow directly into outreach. Two new custom values, the prospect web report link and the prospect business name, become available after the Generate Marketing Audit Report action, so a workflow can email or text a personalized audit the moment a lead arrives from a form, ad, or import. The Add Notes action gained optional titles and color coding for contact notes and now works on custom object records as well. A dedicated email verification action was also added.
Mistral AI actions arrived in beta: workflows can generate chat completions with models including Mistral Large and Ministral, create embeddings for semantic search, and analyze images to extract structured data from receipts or documents. The integration connects with an API key, and usage is billed through your own Mistral workspace with no platform markup.
The AI workflow builder streams step-by-step progress in real time, executes compound requests in a single turn, retains session context, and asks before overwriting an existing canvas. Its output never references the HighLevel brand, enforced at the architecture level, so agencies can expose the builder to end clients without cleanup.
Automated Email Ramp-Up Protects Shared Domains
Sub-accounts under agencies created on or after April 27, 2026 that send from shared domains now start with a conservative daily email limit and graduate automatically through eight stages as they demonstrate healthy behavior. The system evaluates bounce rates, spam complaints, policy violations, and volume, moving senders up or down with no manual work, and every stage change is audited with agency, location, decision, and timestamp.
Policy violations follow a tiered path: a 12-hour block for a first strike, 24 hours for a second, and a permanent lock for repeat or severe cases. Trial agencies get a flat cap of 100 emails per day. The Email Services page now shows the daily limit, sends so far, current stage, and a stage history timeline. Agencies created before that date are unaffected, with a migration plan promised by the end of Q2 2026. The practical win: cleaner shared-domain reputation and better inbox placement for every client on the domain.
Mobile: Full Dashboards and On-the-Go Approvals
The mobile app's Insights module has been replaced with full Dashboards. Every dashboard built on the web now loads on mobile with the same real-time data, plus dashboard switching, quick filters, date ranges, and five chart widget types with expandable, touch-interactive views. Each widget includes an AI insight that explains what the numbers show. The feature is live in Labs with general access arriving in roughly 14 days; this first phase is view-only, and campaign tracking moved into its own dedicated Campaigns module.
The Social Planner external approval flow is now mobile-optimized, so clients can approve, reject, or reschedule posts from a phone through a magic link with no login. It builds on the app's earlier posting tools, covered in this Social Planner mobile guide. White label agencies also get a Screenshot Generator inside the App Customizer that produces store-ready visuals for iPhone, iPad, and Android, with custom backgrounds, captions, up to 10 uploaded screens, and one-click ZIP export.
Snapshots and Agency-Level Controls
Custom contact page views, up to five per sub-account, can now be packaged into snapshots and pushed to other sub-accounts, ending view-by-view rebuilds across client accounts. The import flow was redesigned as well: snapshots can be renamed during import, progress shows directly in the list, error messages explain exactly what went wrong, and a shield icon marks asset-protected snapshots. A Daily Snapshot Import Summary reaches Labs for all users starting May 2, delivering an in-app notification and email digest of import activity for each shared snapshot.
On governance, agencies can grant time-bound support access from advanced settings, extend or revoke it anytime, and rely on audit trails for every change. Labs feature flag toggles are now logged at both company and location level, with support portal actions clearly attributed. Both changes give agencies firmer answers in client compliance conversations.
Marketplace and Developer Updates
Public API documentation is now versioned, with a switcher between versions and older versions staying fully documented, which protects long-running integrations from surprise breaking changes. App versioning was extended to AI Agent modules: Conversation AI and Voice AI templates can no longer be edited on a live version and must ship through a draft, with edits treated as minor updates and first-time template additions requiring a major version.
Developers also gain uninstall feedback. Users removing an app can select a structured reason, such as pricing, bugs, or missing features, and developers see aggregated breakdowns filterable by user type, period, and app version. In Conversations, messages sent by marketplace apps or custom providers now display the app name and ID, so agencies can trace a message's origin instantly instead of opening a support ticket.
Ecommerce, Domains, and Ads
Custom product details pages in the store builder now inherit the complete design of the default page at creation, including layout, store elements, styling, and visibility rules, rather than starting blank. The copy is one-time, so later edits to the default page leave custom pages untouched, and a single custom page can serve multiple products. The option is hidden inside ClickFunnels flows.
AI Studio's domain-connect flow can configure a root domain and its www version in one authorization, issuing SSL certificates for both and keeping any existing primary domain in place. Ad Manager added LinkedIn campaign templates to the Template Library alongside Google and Meta, with objective-based filtering and the ability to upload an existing LinkedIn campaign as a reusable template, which lets agencies replicate proven ad structures across accounts.
More Reliable Meetings and Communities
Meeting rooms no longer end when the host drops. A refresh, network issue, or permission glitch keeps the session alive, and the host can rejoin instantly while attendees stay connected. Hosts now choose between End Meeting for All and Leave, with the latter prompting a host handoff, and the original host automatically regains privileges on return.
Communities engagement counts were rebuilt on a self-healing architecture: reactions, comments, and replies stay in sync with real activity, all eight reaction types are tracked individually, and unread chat badges now match actual messages. For agencies running paid communities or client calls, these fixes remove the small failures that erode trust.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do the new email sending limits affect existing agencies?
No. The staged ramp-up applies only to shared-domain sub-accounts under agencies created on or after April 27, 2026. Existing agencies keep their current setup, a migration plan will be shared by the end of Q2 2026 before anything changes, and dedicated-domain sub-accounts are not affected at all.
Is there an extra platform charge for the Mistral AI workflow actions?
No. Mistral usage is billed directly through your own Mistral workspace, and HighLevel does not meter or charge for those API calls. You connect with a workspace API key, and free-tier keys carry strict limits, so a paid Mistral plan is recommended for production automations.
How do I get dashboards on my phone right now?
Open the mobile app, go to Labs, and enable Mobile Dashboards. Your default dashboard then loads automatically in the Apps section, with switching, filters, expanded widget views, and widget-level AI insights. General access rolls out about 14 days after release, and this phase is view-only.
