HighLevel Updates: New Features for December 22-26, 2025
A short holiday release week still produced changes agencies will touch every day: a database editing tool for WordPress hosting, automatic WhatsApp replies to missed calls, scheduled Listings performance recaps, and a step-by-step view of what Agent Studio agents actually do. Here is what shipped between December 22 and December 26, 2025.
A Native Search and Replace Tool for WordPress
WordPress sites hosted on the platform now include a built-in Search and Replace utility in the Quick Actions area of the site dashboard. It scans the database for a string and can swap every match in one pass, covering jobs that usually demand a plugin or a hand-written script: repointing domains after a migration, switching HTTP addresses to HTTPS, cleaning up malformed or duplicated URLs, and bulk editing email domains.
The flow is deliberately cautious. A search-only pass counts matches before anything changes, matching is case sensitive so near misses are left alone, tooltips push you to back up first, and a confirmation dialog closes out the operation. It works in both live and staging environments, so a risky change can be rehearsed before production sees it.
WhatsApp Answers Missed Calls and Keeps Attachments
A new Missed Call WhatsApp Back toggle sits under Settings, Phone System, Voice, Missed Call Textback. Switch it on and any unanswered call triggers a WhatsApp message to the caller from a prefilled template that names the business and asks how it can help. The wording is editable, though not from the WhatsApp Templates page, and it accepts variables for agent name, booking link, business hours and location name. No workflow build is required, so missed call recovery can be live in minutes.
Media shared in WhatsApp threads also carries an Add to Documents option now, on inbound and outbound messages alike. Images, PDFs, videos and other files save into the contact Documents folder with persistent cloud storage, matching how email and SMS attachments already behave. That sidesteps the Meta media expiration windows that otherwise erase shared files after 7 or 30 days. Our WhatsApp overview covers the channel, and WhatsApp inside the platform walks through setup.
Listings Recap Reports Prove Value on a Schedule
Listings can send automated, branded performance recaps monthly, quarterly or every six months, delivered by email and in-app notification to whichever contacts you pick. Each recap carries a Listings Performance Score out of 100, profile completion percentage, views, clicks and engagement figures, and the top three actions to improve the profile.
The score rests on three pillars: visibility, from profile completeness, directory syncs and the Google Business Profile link; engagement, from views, clicks and click-through trends; and actionability, from onboarding progress, freshness and recap interaction. Agencies set frequency, recipients across agency and location users, and delivery channels from a scheduling screen with preview options. The dashboard also gained a summary card showing the last score and a profile completion meter. For agencies selling local listing management, this is recurring proof of work that keeps retainers alive.
Mobile Storefronts Get Proper Sorting and Filtering
Product list pages on mobile now show dedicated Sort and Filters buttons in the top bar. Sort opens a bottom sheet with date, alphabetical and price options, dismissed by tapping outside or swiping down. Filters open full screen with availability toggles for in stock and out of stock, both on by default, and numeric From and To price inputs, with a sticky footer keeping Apply and Clear Filters in reach and a badge counting active filters.
Total product count is displayed and updates as filters change. Store owners can preview the interaction in the mobile builder and style it, setting background color for the sort and filter bar, text color for both buttons, and styling for the Apply and Clear controls. On a large catalog, that is the difference between browsing and bouncing.
Agent Studio Shows Its Work
A Message Execution Timeline now logs what happens behind every agent response: a chronological view of events, tool calls and logic decisions taken during a run. Each step carries its own latency reading so bottlenecks are easy to spot, and every message exposes the model used, input and output token counts, temperature and other execution metrics.
A button at the top of each message names the node the run transitioned to, and clicking it jumps to that node on the canvas and highlights it. The chat emulator was rebuilt alongside it with a cleaner interface and smoother testing. Anyone shipping AI agents to clients now has evidence to debug against instead of guesswork.
Ask AI Edits One List Item at a Time
Ask AI in the funnel and website builder updates list-based elements item by item rather than rewriting the whole list. Testimonials, pricing tables, logo showcases and number counters are newly supported, and FAQs, image sliders, photo and video galleries and navigation menus behave better under the same change. Edits land faster with far less risk of overwriting content you wanted to keep, which matters when iterating on a funnel page in front of a client.
Faster Snapshot Listings and Formatted Notes
Selling a snapshot on the marketplace takes fewer steps. Choosing Sell on Marketplace from agency account snapshots starts the listing journey immediately and drops sellers into the snapshot listing module in the developer portal, skipping unrelated screens. The module surfaces the packaged assets early, so sellers can confirm what buyers receive before continuing.
In workflows, the Add Notes action supports rich text. Bold, italics, underline, strikethrough, bullet and numbered lists and links are available from a toolbar, and the formatting carries anywhere the note appears. Teams can build follow-up checklists and link supporting documents instead of dropping in plain text.
Smaller Improvements Worth Noting
- Calendars add missing meeting locations automatically after a reconnection.
- Ad Manager supports Meta Ads in previously restricted regions, including Australia, Singapore and Taiwan.
- The SaaS Configurator can restrict Stripe checkout links to card payments only.
- Media Storage sorts A to Z across all views.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is the WordPress search and replace tool safe to run on a live site?
It ships with guardrails, but backups remain your responsibility. Run a search-only pass first to count and review matches, remember that matching is case sensitive, and test on staging before applying the same change to live. A confirmation dialog appears once the replace finishes.
Do I need a workflow to send WhatsApp replies to missed calls?
No. The Missed Call WhatsApp Back toggle lives in the phone system voice settings under Missed Call Textback and works on its own. Edit the prefilled template there rather than on the WhatsApp Templates page, and personalize it with variables such as agent name, booking link and business hours.
How often do listings recap reports go out?
Monthly, quarterly or every six months, whichever you configure. Reports reach selected agency and location users by email and in-app notification, and each one includes the performance score, profile completion, engagement stats and three recommended actions.
