HighLevel Updates: New Features for February 16-20, 2026

Agent Studio variables, Manus AI workflow steps, webinar snapshots, prospecting to pipeline sync and faster calendar setup all shipped this week.

The third week of February 2026 leaned hard into automation. HighLevel shipped native variable support inside Agent Studio, connected those agents to workflows, added an AI task integration, and closed a long standing gap between prospecting and sales pipelines. Calendars, snapshots, documents and the client portal also changed. Here is what shipped and why it matters for agencies and small businesses.

Agent Studio Now Reads Your Account Data

Agent Studio gained five structured variable categories: Account, Custom Values, Right Now, Form Data and Contact. Builders can pull location details such as {{location.name}}, reuse Custom Values defined once in Location Settings, inject live date and time context, map form fields, and personalize with contact fields. The variables work everywhere variables are accepted, including prompts, message fields, model inputs, card text and tool call nodes, and a refreshed merge field picker groups every category in one selector.

This ends hardcoding business details into every node. One agent template can now serve many sub-accounts, each supplying its own data at run time, and missing keys resolve to an empty string rather than failing the run. If you are mapping how the platform AI stack fits your service offer, that turns agent templates into a packaged product.

Workflows Can Call Agents and Manus AI Tasks

A new action named Invoke Agent Studio Agent runs any published production agent with a chat trigger as a step inside an automation. Choose the agent, pass optional inputs, then use its output downstream to write notes, create tasks, enrich a contact or drive branching logic.

Manus also gained native triggers and actions. Triggers fire on New Task Created and Task Stopped, while actions cover creating, retrieving, updating, fetching, deleting and continuing a task with a follow up prompt. Connect with a Manus API key from the workflow builder or integrations page, and store the task identifier from Create Task in a custom field for later steps. Note that only tasks created through a workflow action raise triggers, these are premium workflow steps, and Manus bills its own AI usage.

Tag Filtering Reaches Opportunity and Invoice Triggers

The filter previously labeled Has Tag is now simply Tag, with two new operators. Any of fires when at least one selected tag is present, None of when none are. All four accept multiple tags at once, with Equals to and Not equals to applying AND logic and the new pair OR logic. Stacking several Tag filters in one trigger, combined with AND, makes negative filtering practical: match contacts tagged Lead but not Low Quality.

Coverage now includes Opportunity Created, Opportunity Changed, Opportunity Status Changed, Pipeline Stage Changed and Invoice triggers, joining the contact triggers released earlier. Expect fewer duplicated workflows.

Prospecting Feeds Pipelines Directly

Sub-account prospecting can drop a new prospect straight into a pipeline. While adding a prospect, enable the pipeline option, select the pipeline and stage, then generate the report. The lead arrives ready for follow up, and it works with manual search, bulk prospecting and form based creation. For agencies selling lead generation, this makes return on investment measurable in the same system that runs the outreach.

Snapshots Support Webinars

Webinars are now a dedicated snapshot asset type. They appear in the asset list, can be selected during creation and export, and on import the pages are cloned, sessions are created automatically and related data is restored. Imports respect overwrite or skip behavior.

An agency with a repeatable webinar funnel can deploy the whole campaign into a new sub-account in a few clicks. Compared with a standalone funnel builder, snapshot coverage is the practical difference.

Calendars Cut Setup Time

Date specific hours now accept multiple dates at once across Meetings and Rentals. Select every date sharing the same availability, set the start and end time once, and apply it in bulk. Consecutive dates group into one block automatically while non consecutive dates stay separate, and each group can be edited or deleted on its own, so holiday closures are quick to configure.

Service descriptions in Services v2 also gained a rich text editor with bold, italic, lists, hyperlinks, colors, headings and alignment, so booking pages can explain what a service includes and link to a policy page.

Security, Audit Trails and Document Controls

The client portal replaced permanent community login links with short lived magic links, and users can invalidate every active session across devices during a password change or reset. Error responses across login, forgot password and one time code flows were standardized so an attacker cannot confirm whether an email exists, and the user update endpoint now sanitizes scripting payloads and limits changes to approved fields.

Page builder deletions are traceable too. Section templates, global sections, universal sections, element templates and universal element templates each create an audit entry with the asset name and identifier when removed, across funnels, websites, stores and webinars. Find them under Settings and then Audit Logs. Document templates also gained staff selection, so an administrator can assign a signature field to a specific team member rather than only the contact or sender.

Sites, Courses and Reporting Refinements

WordPress site creation now offers a PHP version dropdown when cloning a site or starting from a template, not only when building from blank, and the version can still be switched later under server settings. Course themes default to Neo Classic for every new course, applying it from Browse Templates shows a consistent name instead of a random one, and a new Save as Template option keeps a customized theme for reuse.

In reporting, the email widget table displays the workflow step name as the source action name, so you can tell which step sent a message without checking identifiers. Voice AI agent trials added a live transcript during web calls, making a voice agent easier to evaluate while the call runs.

Smaller Improvements Worth Noting

  • New email campaign APIs are live for custom reporting or external campaign tooling.
  • Invoices and estimates open in a new tab, so you keep your place in the list.
  • All-in-One Chat is selectable in the Customer Replied trigger, with a chat type filter for chat widget or live chat and a third filter listing only matching widgets.
  • Performance work landed across media storage, the sub-accounts list, social planner, reputation management and its widget, the Lead Connector WordPress plugin, knowledge base and ad manager.
  • Course lessons can import audio and video from media storage instead of re-uploading files, currently behind a Labs toggle.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do Manus workflow steps cost extra?

Yes. Manus triggers and actions follow premium workflow billing, and Manus charges for its own AI usage on top of standard automation rates. Task limits depend on your Manus subscription, so confirm both before high volume use.

Will the new tag operators break my existing triggers?

No. The rename from Has Tag to Tag is cosmetic, and Equals to and Not equals to behave as before. Any of and None of are additions, and existing workflows keep running until you edit them. Our feature overview shows where tag based automation sits in the platform.

Can one Agent Studio template serve several clients?

That is the point of this release. Because agents resolve location data, custom values, contact fields and form submissions at run time, one published template can be reused across sub-accounts and pick up the correct details for each. Our guide to the platform AI tools covers how the pieces connect.
