HighLevel Updates: New Features for January 5-9, 2026

Rebuilt AI page building, drip review replies, native WhatsApp voice notes, bulk calendar hours and two new analytics views.

The first full release week of 2026 focused on automation quality rather than brand new modules. A rebuilt AI page builder, paced review replies, native WhatsApp voice messaging, bulk calendar availability and two new analytics views all shipped between January 5 and January 9, 2026. Here is what changed and what each update is worth to agencies and small businesses. Our January 2026 roundup covers the month in full.

AI Page Creation and Revision Rebuilt

Page generation now runs content writing, layout planning, search optimization and imagery in parallel instead of one step after another, which cuts wait times sharply. Each image is planned before it is produced, so visuals match the content around them, and stricter layout rules keep sections and columns where they belong across browsers and screen sizes.

Revisions improved just as much. A single section such as a hero or pricing block can be changed without disturbing the rest of the page, global color and font updates apply consistently, and every revision ends with a summary of what changed. Neither upgrade needs setup. For agencies that means fewer revision rounds per client page and faster launches, especially on long funnels. Here is how the builder stacks up against ClickFunnels.

Reviews AI Adds Drip Mode for Old Reviews

Drip Mode works through historical reviews that never received a response. You set a minimum review age, limit the campaign to unreplied reviews, and the existing Reviews AI engine writes contextual, on-brand replies. Pacing is fully configurable through a daily reply cap, a cadence and permitted sending windows, so a backlog clears at a human pace instead of in one burst.

Campaigns can be edited, paused or deleted at any time, and edits affect only replies still scheduled. Any business sitting on months of silent reviews can recover its response rate without hiring for it, which slots into a wider reputation management process.

Calendars Gain Bulk Hours and Better Contact Data

Date-specific hours can now be applied to several dates at once. Pick the dates, set start time, end time, services and locations once, then apply everything in bulk. Consecutive dates group into a single editable block while non-consecutive ones split apart, which makes holiday and seasonal scheduling far quicker.

A phone number importer now handles Calendly appointments. Numbers supplied in the meeting location sync automatically when the form has no phone fields, and when the form does include one, a mapping screen lets you choose the source or skip syncing entirely. Custom values created at the sub-account level are also selectable inside calendar, service and rental settings, so appointment titles, locations and reminder templates can pull real business data.

WhatsApp Voice Notes Send Natively

Outbound voice notes from the Conversations panel now arrive as native WhatsApp voice messages rather than downloadable attachments. They are sent in OGG format, download automatically and play inline exactly like a note recorded in the WhatsApp app. Recipients who enable voice message transcripts in their own WhatsApp chat settings get a transcribe option on each note.

Nothing needs configuring on the sending side. The practical effect is engagement, because customers listen or read instead of ignoring a file they have to download first. See our WhatsApp guide or the official integration details.

Workflow AI Actions Run on a Stronger Model

The model powering every Workflow AI action was upgraded. Translation keeps tone and context better, summaries hold their nuance, intent detection reads ambiguous queries more accurately and the decision maker handles complex branching more reliably. Existing workflows benefit automatically with no configuration change, so long-running automations should hit fewer edge-case failures.

Agency admins can also set Standard or Advanced as the default builder for new workflows in Global Workflow Settings and decide which roles may switch views, with the default applying to new workflows only. Separately, Documents and Contracts templates can assign fillable sender fields dynamically to the workflow from user or to the template owner, so sales teams with several reps no longer need a duplicate contract template for each person. Two New Analytics Views

Site Analytics reports average time on page across funnels, websites and webinars, with a median shown alongside the average so outliers do not skew the read. Trends are available daily, weekly and monthly for before-and-after comparisons. Visits under two seconds are excluded as noise and inactive sessions are capped, so the numbers reflect real attention.

Prospecting gains its own sub-account dashboard covering reports generated, contacts created, lead generation frequency and report views, plus recent widget submissions and a date filter. Both views give agencies engagement evidence to bring to client reporting calls instead of raw page counts.

Finer Agency Controls in Labs, Courses and Communities

Labs now treats visibility and enablement as separate settings. Agencies decide independently whether an experimental feature appears in a sub-account and whether it is switched on, set a default rule for new Labs features and override that rule per location. Visibility controls are limited to the Unlimited and Pro white-label plans, while on Starter the Labs features are always visible.

The new Courses builder can clone lessons, quizzes and assignments in roughly one to two seconds, carrying over videos, media, thumbnails, formatted descriptions, quiz questions and assignment materials. Community admins can hide the Learning, Events, Leaderboard and Members tabs, while Discussion and About stay mandatory. Chat Widget contact form prompts are now editable in two separate fields, one shown automatically and one triggered by an agent, which helps white-label brand consistency.

Smaller Improvements Worth Noting

  • Media library formats: JSON, CSS, OGG and OGA, M4V, HEIC and ZIP archives now upload, list and preview consistently in Chrome, Firefox and Safari.
  • SEO quota display: the premium AI quota for article generation is visible in the quota info section, and only an exhausted quota turns red instead of the whole row.
  • Knowledge Base: the web crawler limit increased to 4,000 URLs.
  • Conversations: the signed URL file upload API is live, and email forwarding was added.
  • Localization: static strings in the SEO module and backend strings in Prospecting now use internationalization keys.
  • SaaS plan labels: under Payments then Products, the Agency Plan is renamed SaaS V1 Plan and the SaaS Plan becomes SaaS V2 Plan, with no pricing or billing change.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do the AI page building improvements need to be turned on?

No. Both the creation and revision upgrades apply automatically, and existing pages can be revised straight away with the improved accuracy. The difference shows up most on larger, more complex pages and funnels.

Can Drip Mode reply to an entire review backlog at once?

No, and that is deliberate. A daily reply cap, a cadence setting and a permitted time window spread responses out so they do not look automated. The campaign runs until every eligible review has a reply, or until you pause or delete it.

Does renaming the SaaS plans affect pricing or billing?

No. Agency Plan becoming SaaS V1 Plan and SaaS Plan becoming SaaS V2 Plan is a label change only, applied to new and existing products. There are no pricing, feature or billing changes and no action is required.
