HighLevel Updates: New Features for March 16-20, 2026

Schema Markup AI, Blog Post AI, variant level coupons, structured notes and bulk snapshot loading landed in HighLevel for March 16-20, 2026.

HighLevel shipped a dense week of releases between March 16 and March 20, 2026. Artificial intelligence reached two more parts of the platform, Contacts received a rebuilt notes experience, Payments gained precise coupon targeting, and agencies got a faster way to push snapshots across sub-accounts. Here is what changed and how agencies and small business teams can put it to work.

Schema Markup AI Generates Structured Data Automatically

The Schema Markup Generator entered its second phase with an AI flow inside the website and funnel builder. The assistant reads the content already on a page, picks the schema types that fit, fills the fields from live page data, validates the result, and saves it with no separate save step. All 201 plus supported types across the three tier hierarchy are available, not just the twelve from the first phase.

You can add, edit, or delete schemas through conversation, swapping a type or adjusting a field mid session. That turns a twenty to thirty minute job per page into roughly two minutes, which matters now that structured data feeds AI search citations and Google AI Overviews as well as traditional rich results. Enable it under Agency Settings, then Labs, then click Create with AI in the SEO panel while editing a page.

Blog Post AI Turns a Topic Into a Finished Draft

Blog Post AI is a writing assistant built into the blog editor and switched on from Labs. Assist Mode takes a topic and returns an outline, headings, readable paragraphs, SEO title, description and keywords, plus matching generated images. Build Mode accepts a free form prompt instead. In the editor you can regenerate paragraphs, adjust tone or length, replace images, and apply SEO suggestions before saving or publishing.

The assistant also accepts reference URLs and images as context and can search the web in real time, so a post reflects current information rather than pre-trained knowledge alone. Multi language generation and translation are included. Blog sites can also be created before a domain is connected, domains can be removed or switched from blog settings, and custom values work in the favicon and canonical URL fields.

Conversations and the Phone System Reduce Friction on Live Calls

Call transcripts now open in the center panel instead of covering the contact details sidebar, so a team member can read a transcript and update contact fields at the same time. When a caller shares an email address, the composer enables the email channel immediately, with no page refresh that would drop the call. The call option returned to the Create New Conversation flow, and added translations plus tooltips fix layout breakage in longer languages.

Form submissions now appear in the conversation thread for the contact who submitted them, once the setting is toggled on for that form. Agents can read exactly what a lead entered and reply from the same screen. Email AI also references knowledge base articles when drafting replies, and newly added or updated articles are included automatically.

The dialer minimizes when you click outside it, pins open when you want it to stay, and remembers where you dragged it. Inbound calls to numbers with no assigned user and no forwarding number now route to voicemail instead of being rejected. The chat widget first A2P flow adds AI validation that flags extra SMS opt in paths on your site, and puts Customer Care first in the use case list to reduce rejections.

Pipelines Get Collapsible Stages and Custom Field Sorting

The Kanban view in Opportunities now supports collapsing, expanding, and resizing stages, with layout preferences saved per user so your view never changes anyone else's. Collapse the inactive stages and a crowded pipeline becomes readable again.

Sorting accepts any major custom field type, including single line, multi line text, dropdown, radio, number, monetary, phone, and date, across all pipelines and views. Appointment booking inside an opportunity now uses the full Calendars modal covering meetings, services, and rentals, opening with pre-filled details when an appointment already exists.

Structured Notes and Record Associations in the CRM

Notes are no longer plain text. Each one can carry a title, a color label, pinned placement at the top of the timeline, and file attachments, and search runs across both title and description. Teams can flag critical account details and keep supporting documents on the record instead of in a separate drive.

A Labs feature adds associations between companies and opportunities, and between companies and custom objects, covering one to one, one to many, and many to many relationships, with paired labels such as buyer and seller and up to 1,000 linked records per side. Associations appear in record details, Kanban cards, and list views, which matters if you run HighLevel as a full agency CRM rather than a contact list.

More Design Control in Forms, Surveys, and QR Codes

Forms and Surveys gained five image layouts: Left Center, Right Center, Left Fixed, Right Fixed, and Background. Center layouts add corner radius and image to field spacing controls, fixed layouts add a focal point selector, and surveys can override the layout on an individual slide. Better looking capture pages tend to convert better, worth testing if you are comparing HighLevel with a dedicated funnel builder.

QR codes can now be rounded or circular, carry a colored border or frame, and display call to action text along the top and bottom rim, across every QR type. Our walkthrough on how to generate QR codes in HighLevel covers the basics.

Analytics Filters and Variant Level Coupons

Site Analytics added advanced filters for funnel, website, and webinar reporting. Filter by country, channel, page title, traffic source and more, stack several at once, and see active filters listed in the view, without exporting data.

Coupons can now target a specific price or variant inside a product rather than the whole product, and selecting a product includes all current and future prices. Funnels, forms, store checkouts, payment links, and calendars respect the new logic, and coupon workflow triggers accept dependent product then price or variant filters. Existing coupons, active subscriptions, and past transactions continue on the previous logic.

Load Snapshots to Every Sub-Account at Once

The snapshot load modal now lists every sub-account in the agency, with tabs for All, Linked, and Available. Loading a snapshot into an unlinked account links it automatically in the same click. Agencies onboarding a batch of clients, or pushing an updated build across a portfolio, can finish in one action instead of visiting accounts one at a time. Enable it in Agency Settings, then Labs.

Smaller Improvements Worth Noting

  • Auto-payment is enabled by default on invoices with payment schedules and on recurring invoices sent from the dashboard, and can still be switched off before sending.
  • The smart tags limit in Opportunities increased to 60.
  • Blog sitemaps regenerate automatically whenever a post is created, updated, or deleted.
  • Interval changes are temporarily disabled for SaaS version two upgrades.
  • AI generated schema is page specific, needs existing page content, and does not yet support custom value field mapping.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need to enable anything to use Schema Markup AI?

Yes. Activate the Schema Markup Generator under Agency Settings, then Labs. It uses the same flag as the first phase, so accounts already creating schema manually do not need a new one. The assistant opens inside the Funnel AI panel when Funnel AI is active, or in its own pane when it is not.

Will price and variant coupons break the coupons I already run?

No. Existing coupons, active subscriptions, and past transactions keep using the previous logic. The new targeting applies to newly created coupons, coupons you edit, and future transactions.

Can Blog Post AI use current information?

Yes. It can search the web while drafting and pull in reference URLs and images you supply, so posts reflect recent developments instead of pre-trained knowledge alone.
