HighLevel Updates: New Features for Sep 29-Oct 3, 2025
The first week of October delivered one of the year's biggest advertising releases for HighLevel, plus an enterprise-grade login option, smarter marketplace agents, and a run of fixes across calendars and the template library. Here is what shipped between September 29 and October 3, 2025, and what it means for agencies and small businesses.
LinkedIn Ads Join Meta and Google in Ad Manager
Ad Manager now supports LinkedIn alongside Meta and Google, so all three major paid channels can be planned, launched, and reported on from one screen. Connecting an account uses a secure OAuth handshake managed from Ad Manager settings, though your LinkedIn company page must already be attached to your ad account on LinkedIn first.
Campaigns follow LinkedIn's three tiers: a campaign group as the container, a campaign for targeting and budget, and ads for the creative.
- Two objectives: lead generation with native LinkedIn lead forms built in a new accordion-style builder, and website traffic with validated destination URLs.
- Three media types: single image, single video, or carousel, chosen at campaign level, with live desktop and mobile feed previews.
- Layered targeting: location is required, and optional filters cover job title, industry, company size, education, skills, seniority, and interests. Stack up to three attribute groups using OR logic inside a group, AND logic between them, and include or exclude rules.
- Budgets: daily or lifetime spend at campaign group level, with maximum delivery or cost cap optimization.
- Reporting: a LinkedIn tab tracking impressions, clicks, click-through rate, cost per click, cost per lead, leads, spend, and conversions, with ad-level drill-down, custom columns, and export.
For agencies chasing business-to-business clients, this closes a real gap. Lead form submissions land straight in the CRM, so professional-audience leads join the same pipelines as everything else and reporting stops meaning three separate platforms.
Clearer Meta Guardrails and a New Call to Action
Some countries apply extra restrictions under Meta's advertising policies, and the special parameters and verified identifiers they require are not supported through the current integration. Ad Manager now blocks the selection immediately with a message naming the limitation, instead of letting you build toward a rejection. The flagged choices are financial services ads targeting Australia, all ads targeting Taiwan, all ads targeting Singapore, and worldwide as a location.
Meta lead generation campaigns also gained the previously missing Get Offer call to action, which suits discounts and promotions. The result is fewer wasted build hours and one more conversion-focused button for offer-led ads.
Marketplace Agents Can Ship With a Knowledge Base
Builders publishing an AI agent to the marketplace can now bundle a knowledge base with it, including or excluding it just as they do with actions, and installing agencies receive that content preloaded.
That turns a purchased agent into a working template rather than an empty shell. The bundled documents act as a reference set the buyer swaps for their own material, cutting setup time and making an agent useful on day one. For anyone building on the platform's AI tooling, it also makes marketplace listings a more credible product to sell alongside the wider AI feature set.
Single Sign-On Arrives for White-Label Agencies
Single sign-on is now available to all customers through Labs. Once enabled, SSO tabs appear in company settings and team settings, with the main configuration under company settings. The tab shows for everyone, but only $497 plan accounts with a white-label domain configured can switch it on.
The screen splits into SSO Configuration for the identity provider connection, Test Results for built-in test feedback, and Additional Settings, with toggles to enable single sign-on and hide every other login method. Role-based permissions covering who may manage the configuration are planned for later. For an agency selling software under its own brand, this removes one of the last places a client meets a generic login.
New Agencies Get a Head Start on Prospecting
Agencies between 15 and 30 days old that have not yet generated a prospect now receive a one-time batch of local lead recommendations by email, drawn from their own niche, location, and postal code. The wait is deliberate, giving new accounts time to explore before any nudge arrives.
The intended path is to run a marketing audit report on a recommended business, reach out, then switch on automated discovery for a continuous flow. A fourth-quarter phase adds in-app notifications, a clearer email, and eligibility for trial users. For agencies still building a client list, it is a free first batch of local targets.
Faster Calendar Setup and a Roomier Booking View
Creating a calendar no longer means inventing a URL. Entering a name generates a unique slug automatically, and uniqueness holds even when calendars share a name. Generation happens only at creation, so renaming later leaves the link intact, and custom slugs can still be typed.
A redesigned calendar view is also in Labs. Meetings now covers the existing personal, round robin, collective, class, service (v1), and service menu calendars, while Services (v2) targets businesses needing variations and add-ons, with a Rentals type on the way. A dropdown switches between types when more than one is enabled, filters update to match the active type, reduced padding fits more events on screen, Manage View hides the filter panel, and the mini month calendar sits beneath the main date.
WhatsApp Certification Badge Is Now Live
The eleventh skills badge in the certification program covers WhatsApp end to end: the business app versus the API, how the channel compares with email and SMS, account setup and messaging limits, template messages, in-conversation automation and flows, conversation AI and coexistence, and bulk messaging with compliance warnings. A final exam score of 90 percent or higher unlocks the badge.
For certified admins it is a concrete way to show clients you can run WhatsApp campaigns properly rather than experimentally. More courses are in production, covering voice AI, AI tech stacks, moving over from HubSpot, and email deliverability.
Smaller Improvements Worth Noting
- Template library settings: a cleaner layout and simpler navigation for managing types, tags, and other options from the agency admin screen.
- Default Preview: check exactly what sub-accounts see in the template library without switching accounts.
- Hide types and tags: admins on every plan can switch off irrelevant filters, keeping the library tight and white-label friendly.
- Phone system billing: the 5 percent markup previously added on top of Stripe charges has been removed.
- Carousel cards on LinkedIn: each card carries its own headline and destination URL, so one ad can route to several offers.
Frequently Asked Questions
What do I need before connecting a LinkedIn ad account?
Your LinkedIn company page must already be linked to your LinkedIn ad account on LinkedIn's side. After that, open Ad Manager settings, go to the LinkedIn tab, and complete the connection. Lead generation and website traffic are the two objectives supported at launch.
Can every account turn on single sign-on?
The SSO tab appears for everyone once the Labs feature is enabled, but activation needs a $497 plan account with a white-label domain configured. Other plan tiers can see the settings without being able to enable them.
Is the redesigned calendar view permanent?
Not yet. The layout is being tested in Labs, so you opt in rather than get it automatically, and more scheduling improvements are expected in following weeks. The rentals booking type has not shipped.
